Description
In the decades immediately following WWII new concerns begin to emerge. The Cold War and its impact upon governments and society, as well as the rise of post-colonialism. In this course we will explore some of the philosophical responses to these times, including Thomas Kuhn’s ‘Paradigm Shifts’, Franz Fanon on colonialism and Noam Chomsky on language.
