Description

Join us for a two-hour workshop co-taught by Janette and Darren, designed to enhance mindfulness and creativity through the art of poetry. We will explore the forms of Haiku and Haibun to connect more deeply with the present moment. Through examples, discussion, and a meditative walk, we’ll gather inspiration for our writing, with an option to share in a supportive environment. No prior experience is needed—just bring an open mind and a willingness to express your thoughts.

A residential creative writing course aimed at both beginners and intermediate writers interested in flash fiction, short stories, novellas or the novel. Consisting of lectures, writing exercises and individual tutorials, enjoy uninterrupted writing time in a beautiful rural retreat. In addition to a focus on 'Mindfulness' and 'Metaphor', Darren will provide you with short stories to discuss, helping you to further develop your writing style.
